Peptides are temperature-sensitive. We dispatch from Lausanne in nitrogen-purged, gel-pack insulated parcels via cold-chain courier and track every parcel end-to-end. This policy explains the commitments, the carriers, and what happens if something goes wrong.
01Dispatch facility
All shipments are dispatched from BIOHACKER TEAM, Lausanne. Orders received before 14:00 CET, Monday through Thursday, are dispatched the same day. Friday orders are batched and dispatched Monday morning to avoid weekend transit dwell.
02Cold-chain handling
Lyophilised peptides are stable at room temperature for up to four (4) weeks; we treat them as cold-chain anyway. Each parcel is packed with phase-change gel packs and a temperature-stable insulation layer rated to maintain 2–8 °C for seventy-two (72) hours. Reconstituted product is the responsibility of the recipient.
03Carriers
We dispatch via DHL Express Medical, FedEx Priority, and World Courier depending on jurisdiction. For partner accounts in the EU and CH, dedicated cold-chain ground service is available on request.
04Transit windows
Standard transit times from Lausanne, business days, excluding customs clearance:
- Switzerland — 1 business day
- European Union — 1–3 business days
- United Kingdom — 2–3 business days
- United States & Canada — 2–4 business days
- Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan — 3–5 business days
- UAE, GCC — 3–5 business days
- Australia, New Zealand — not currently shipped (see Restricted Jurisdictions)
05Duties, taxes, and customs
Orders are dispatched DAP (Delivered at Place, Incoterms 2020) unless agreed otherwise in writing. The Buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by the destination jurisdiction. Where lawful, we will assist with documentation; we cannot pre-clear on the Buyer's behalf.
06Excursions and re-shipment
Each parcel carries a single-use temperature logger. If the logger records an excursion outside 2–8 °C for longer than the permitted dwell window, BIOHACKER will, at its option, refund the affected items or re-ship at no additional cost. Claims must be raised within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery and accompanied by the logger reading.
07Tracking and transparency
Tracking is provided by SMS and email at dispatch and updated at every customs and carrier scan. The full chain-of-custody record — batch, lot, dispatch time, customs status, delivery signature — is available from your account dashboard for ten (10) years.
08Restricted jurisdictions
We do not ship to jurisdictions where the catalogue is unlawful for the stated use. As of the date of this policy this includes (without limitation) Australia, Brazil, China, Republic of Korea, and Malaysia. The current restriction list is published in the Regulatory Disclosure and reviewed quarterly.
09Address accuracy
The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address. Re-routing or re-delivery requested after dispatch may incur a CHF 80 administration fee plus actual carrier costs. We do not deliver to PO boxes or general-delivery addresses.
